05 December 2014The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

The Stewards interviewed D.P. McDonogh, rider of Noverre Princess, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.4, in that he used the whip without giving his mount time to respond and having considered his record, suspended him for two race days.
F.M. Berry, rider of Alfaayza, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung right off the home bend and may have resented the visor.
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Alfaayza, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
329D Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey Rated RaceThe Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr.P.W.Murtagh, regarding the failure of D. Fitzpatrick, rider of Hilary, placed fifth, to weigh in after this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned in the presence of his master, Gerard Stack, who accompanied him in the Stewards room. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards disqualified Hilary and amended the result accordingly. Having taken the riders record into account, he was severely cautioned concerning his future responsibilities in this regard.
329E Christmas Race & Dine Packages H'capThe Stewards interviewed I.T. Queally, rider of Maontri, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he used the whip with excessive frequency and having considered his record, suspended him for two race days.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Gradatim trained by T. Stack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.
